PPCF special issue

IOP will host a special issue on high field laser-plasma interactions, open to every participant of the 3rd HFLPI workshop.

The scope of this special issue is to highlight important new results obtained in the context of the forthcoming high-power laser facilities. In particular, it is intended to foster a dialogue between the experimentalists and the theoreticians working in the field and to start preparing realistic experiments. Scientists doing theory and simulation can benefit from better understanding of what can be measured and how. Experimentalists can benefit from an additional insight offered by the theory and modeling, such that they can develop new kinds of detectors and plan to measure specific signatures predicted by simulations.

Guest Editors:

Michael Grech, Laboratoire pour l’Utilisation des Lasers Intenses, Ecole Poytechnique, Palaseu, France
Matteo Passoni, Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy
